Tony has 30 years plus experience in hotel/restaurant kitchens. After working for the last 20 years in a local hotel he jumped at the chance of owning his own business in a place he knows well. Tony focuses on creating excellent quality dishes to suit every palate. Whether you require traditional ‘pub grub’ or something extra special all dishes are created with every care and attention.

Adam has always worked in the hospitality industry. After graduating from Yorkshire Coast College as a fully qualified chef he has spent time managing a local Tea Room, as Assistant Manager in a local hotel and, more recently, co-managing a large hotel near Bristol. Adam can turn his hand to just about anything in our business and is always interested in your views and ideas.

Kim has spent most of her life behind local bars (in a good way!) or serving in restaurants. After a stint at Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education she spent time as a duty manager in a busy market town hotel learning every aspect of the business. More recently she co-managed a large hotel near Bristol with Adam.

Emma has worked behind the bar of most of the pubs in the nearby town of Pickering and is well known. Fairly new to the trade she has picked it up very quickly and could have been born in a pub!

Jane is born and bred to the area and knows all there is to know about Thornton le Dale and The New Inn. Her career began many years ago when she and Tony ran a pub near Northallerton, although she has also worked behind many of the local bars she's still not ventured behind ours! Jane is also essential to the smooth running of our letting rooms and kitchen.
